just thinking now, all us ppl who are used to the old editor are searching for tutorials when wer taking to advanced editors in the forums lol..
so is ther any chance of one of you taken up the task of creating a very basic map. i mean just like 2 rooms, with a hallway connecting them and maybe bit of terrian and some props etc. and sticking it up here as a tutorial..

haha dont rub it in that i shud of got the CE (wud of been the better choice )

...n where is this Archetonic's tutorial? thought i searched the forum once already for a good tutorial that ISN'T the old editor lol..


..oo n btw i eventually got the materials/static mesh's found and put in..stupid mistake rele, was trying to IMPORT instead of OPEN lol, o well, learn from mistakes , so i now take bac that comment i made of not being any textures/objects, thers loads lol...

...just relised which tut you ment with the Archetonic's one...trouble is that tutorial is for the older model, the one that came with 2k4..unrealEd 3.0.

i tried to follow it and 'interperate' the instructions into the new editor but i was getting nowhere lol

Hourences has some tutorials, also check out the Roboblitz Wiki, and hopefully the public UDN3 will be online soon. There is already a thread on here with links. Give it some time for tutorials to show up.

... and it's Unreal Editor for UT3, or UT3Ed, it is not UEd4!
