    Default Disapearing Cursor?!?!

Ok, this has been happenning quite a bit lately. I am in the middle on editing my map when my cursor just disappears. Has this happened to anyone? How do I fix it?

    yep it happened to me.
The only thing i can remember is i double click on the brush by mistake a window poped up so i closed it and lost my cursor.
Had to restart the ed again.
When you kill 6 people in Unreal Tournament 3 it's "Monster kill", In Quake III it's "Excellent", in Counter-Strike Source it's "Kicked by console".

I just started map editing. I have a basic grip of it. I mean I just started today.
First real experience with Unreal Editor ever.

Anyways I had this happen too, my solution was clicking around
Trying to click on the open terrain menu etc, and it seemed to come back.

cursor goes to the (edge -right of your screen) -find it there -there is no need to restart editor

apparently auto save causes this. I just randomly click until it comes back :\

Right clicking once or twice seems to have made my cursor re-appear when it disappears. I don't know if it's the same problem as yours, but that's worked for me.

I get this ALOT using UT3 or the Gears editor (much more frequent with Gears). It happens a lot when I have the Generic Browser open.

Sometimes right-clicking elsewhere in the editor should bring the cursor back up.

For me, it's almost always when I have a Properties window up (But I'm only editing UT3 and not GoW). Since I posted though, I've had to right click several times all over the place to try and get it working again, heh. But right clicking does seem to be the answer.

I found going to an orthographic view brought the cursor back.

Try not making the ed fullscreen. I'm not talking about the fullscreen mode within the ed, but rather full screen as in a window's window made full screen.

I haven't had time to test this more then 30 minutes, but so far, the problem hasn't come back.

I just right click a couple of times, that brings it back up.

This has happened numerous times to me as well while editing (UT3) - just hit escape and it comes right back . . works for me every time. . .

I actually had the problem while the editor was not full screen so I don't think that is an issue.
