    Whats up guys, this is my baby, she is a super ruff draft of it.

    she is really ruff right now, textures are not perma.
    lights havent been really placed like i want and optimized.

    This beta is more so a Proof of concept build so people can see portals in action.

    i want peoples opinions on the maps future and id love new idea's doesnt mean il use all of them but some i might.

    Also guys please give your feelings on the current path systems and escape routes, im trying to ballence the attack aspect but also give the enemy a good change to defend there flag.

    There are 4 portals in the map, 2 and 2, the sets interconnect with eachother and are one way only portals.

    they will accept only 3 things passing through them people, trans and deemer. (BTW this one took a while to get right)

    so please take a download and check it out.

    Just remember she is a early draft without any fine details or full texture work. just a core build.

    and yes i did use the stargate style them for the portals ramps.

    Looks ok (but like you've said), it needs some work. Personally I find the lighting a bit dark.

    way to be lazy, fly like a mouse, Im asking people to check it out, for pathways, the screenshots just show the portals. theres more then just them.

    The majority of the work on her so far has been pathways, and in game functions. Portals took a lot of time to get them right and to block out cirtain things.

    There real portals, there not teleporters, there real time gateways that can move projectiles through them if i make it so. (placing one in front and in back theoreticly you could shoot your self in the ass)

    So anyone that wants to check out portals in action check the map out and give me some feed back on pathways and escape routes. Not just look at 2 or 3 early beta pictures and decide

    the map is a several week project to get it done. Im asking for opinions at its early stage in terms of leveling so i dont have to change things later in the process

    All the pics are of the same room, it leaves people thinking tahts all there is.
    Wouldnt call them lazy. Might even say to post up soe more pics of different areas you slacker.

    Ill check iut out next time im in game. My only comment as of now, is that I dont like the railings going into the portal.

    Anyway, You might want to send kurt Russel in there, less he gets raped by christmas critters.

    those rails are placeholders really, im working on better ones in maya
