Everytime game freezes in video sequence

hi,
I'm frustrated...

Everytime I watch the first video sequence (single player campaign) with the alien attack in the minor the picture freezes and I have to reboot the system or going back to windows by pressing strg+alt+del by closing UT3.exe.

Sometimes it freezes after a few seconds, sometimes later in the first video sequence.

I already tried to quit the video sequence by pressing "Esc." ... but after completing the first mission, the next video sequence freezes again.

In game everything works fine. I've played the beta demo intensively.
i think if it were a problem because of my overclocked cpu, a multiplayer game wouldnt work too and i cant go back to winXP

does anybody know what the problem is???
i cant cant enjoy ut3, why cant i see these sequences???

I have just the same problem. I played the demo like hell, and now...
God Damned!!! Instant action is no problem, only in the SP Campaign when a video starts... the game locks up.

What to do????

UT 3 runs realy great if you got duelcore + 3072 mb ram.

you didnt mention which file you altered.....only the folder the file was in.
please post which file you are altering..so I dont go and make the game go BOOM!

nevermind you did mention it...I just need to get more huuked awn fawniks and learn to read more carefully! :P

You were half wright, and half wrong

You do need to EDIT this setting, but it is found in your user settings, not the default config ini file.

This is found in your MY Documents folder, where all your user settings are kept, change
the file in their and it will work like a charm.

half right or not, I used the ghetto version of the fix and it seems to work! it still has moments where the video hangs up for a bit...but it picks up again.
there are a few spots that kinda take you out of the moment but overall its good enough so that you dont mind too much.
