Problem Unlocking FPS

i have followed the instructions found on the forums to unlock fps via the game.engine smoothing=FALSE but in game im still capped to 62fps max.

anyone having similar problems or any solutions

Turn VSync off in Video Options.

V-Sync is turned off and my monitor refresh is set to 75. I'm stumped

are you sure the file wasn't set to read only when you saved it?

Yep checked several times... file is saving properly.

You changed the ini in your mydocuments folder right?

fixed it by editing UTEngine.ini in "My Games/Unreal Tournament 3/UTGame/Config/"
as well as the one I did originally BaseEngine.ini in "UT3/Engine/Config"

Thany you i was changing the .ini in the program files UT3 folder..

Changing the one in the MyDocuments folder did the trick.
