    Default Dedicated server question

So I was planning on rolling over my current UT2k4 dedicated server to a UT3 one. When I contacted my host, he sent me this:

    --
However...I and a ton of other folks have been testing the UT3 Full Dedicated Server files for about a week now with terrible results. Same problems the demo server files had: not visible in browser, crashing after map changes, etc, etc. I think they are quite a ways away from having the dedicated server files ready.

Is this going to be addressed quickly? I think like a lot of folks here, I won't even be bothering with the single player game, I'm buying it for the multiplayer experience.

    Thanks much!

We've got over 100 full game servers running in both Europe and the US without seeing those issues.

I'd be happy to look into it, but would need specific details.

I am waiting for the Linux server and will bring it into my offers as soon as possible.
The demoserver runs great without any crashes (without querys) and so on and i got the multihome worked.

What OS are you running the servers on? My current host uses Linux, Red Hat Enterprise to be precise.

There was definitely a crash issue fixed in the linux DS:

    - Linux Demo Server crashes when IP is entered in HLSW.

This is confirmed fixed on the linux client and will be included in the linux DS when it's ready.

Can you estimate a rough date for Linux DS release?
