It can be nice if you have mature people. Basically, it'll make you think twice about somethings, such as randomly dropping the hammer or throwing a boomshot into a crowd of people looking for a kill. Basically, it dumbs down overpowered explosives a little. Of course, you'll always have that ass who wants his rifle on canals and will kill the whole team for it >.>.

You, on the other hand, are an idiot.

You can shoot the boom at your teammate if friendly fire is on or if it's off. As long as it's execution he'll still live and the boom will blow the other guys up. What the hell kind of argument is that?

And I didn't say 5 and neither did Marth. We said 10-20. Preferably 15 if it's an option. 30 is way too damn long to even thing about getting up by yourself. Which is one of the main points of execution. The other is the main reason it's not warzone which is getting downed and killed by the lancer from 30 feet away.

Are you going to go back on your word? Are you going to respond? I was saying what I liked and disliked about the MLG rules and you sound like you considered it a personal attack. Calm down and take a step back.


Anyway. I like friendly fire because it teaches you something. Think before you shoot. And that to me is a beautiful thing.

I haven't been back here for very long, so I didn't want to call anyone a true moron just yet. Right from the start, i could tell you were at least a semi-troll from the way you posted, but I didn't want to make myself look like a moron if I randomly said something about someone who might have been a respected regular here.

It's safe to say that, with an attitude like your's, you definitely won't be missed by anyone. Go play with your MLG friends; Meanwhile, the rest of us will have fun playing games the way they were meant to be played. Let us revise the idea then. Every week (open to suggestions) there will be a Forum game. Where people from the forums can get together and decide what map cycle they want to play, rounds, times, and all that other juicy crap and make it happen. The idea for a forum-wide game is solid.

Though.. with the amount of Forumgoers it would probably need to be two or three games.

I think 10 sec bleedout is the best. It prevents you from getting AR whored, and kind of gets you to be more cautious of how you play, since w/ 5 sec bleedout, you can get away sometimes.
