And what the hell does "run into an outnumbered fight like a man" even mean? It's a video game...nothing you do while playing makes you any less or more of a man. It's a game.

Not getting beat. Not complaining because I'm losing to this tactic...

Just really annoying, and really girlish. And the whole "being a man" thing is relative to other people, who usually hide in the back.

I am not trying to pick an internet fight with you. Period.

Girlish...being a man...has nothing to do with playing a video game. To get back on topic, the fact of the matter is that it's a simple choice whether to spend ammo to get the upperhand at the beginning of the battle or conserve your ammo for later on. There is nothing wrong with either method so there is really no need for people arguing on this post. Obviously, the creator of this post made it so that he could whine about getting killed with active reloads. You have your opinion, and I have mine. That's life. The end.

Tired of being trash talked by annoying "internet badasses" when they end up losing anyway.

Um... unless I'm really high or something, I am the creator of this post. I didn't make it to whine about losing. I've said it about a million times now: I'm not complaining because I'm losing to this tactic. I'm not saying that this is an illegitimate tactic either. I'm saying that it's a freaking weak move. I can't help that I like people to have some freakin' dignity and honor, whether playing a game online or living in the real world.

I voted "Skillful Tactic" because its more of a skillful tactic than a weak move. If there was another medium option I would have gone that.

Id tag when the other team is missing 2 people. Id also smoke tag them then run away (when theyre not downed). Id never glitch, though. Ever.

Oh, and to all those people who are talking about "honour" over a video game...wake up. Its a f*cking game. You can neither gain nor lose honour over it.

Trying to do things right means killing the other team using any means neccessary, excluding glitching.

I don't really think honor is a thing you can have in a real life situation, but then not have it in a video game. It's like karma, you always have it, no matter the situation. And how you treat people in a video game is how you're going to treat them in real life. Believe it or not, you're talking to real people when you play.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong. You obviously created this post to whine, so you are wrong about that. You are like everyone else on these forums and everyone else who plays this game...always finding something to whine about. That's one thing that takes away from the online experience, people who whine all the time. And as for a video game, our Australian friend is right, there is no honor in it. You're playing a game. It's not real life, AT ALL, BY ANY MEANS. And the last and more important thing that you're wrong about is that the way you treat people on the game is how you'd treat them in real life. Let me tell you that if any of the numerous "tough guy" teenagers talked crap to me, continuously insulted me, or any of the various annoying things they do in real life, I would knock their lights out. They wouldn't even get a second chance or an opportunity to apologize. People most certainly do not treat people on this video game like they'd treat them in real life. NOT AT ALL. NO WAY. People are blatantly annoying, rude, insulting, ignorant, and unintelligent, and they get away with it because they're across the country or across the world and talking smack over the internet. This is the #1 thing that ruins Gears of War online for me. I like to play the game because it's fun, and I'm good at it. I can handle the friendly trash talking and the occassional stupid cut down, but it happens way too much on this game.

Thats your opinion, and I respect that, but I disagree. Honour is a real-life thing, not a video game thing. Talking sh1t to someone wont take away from your honour, but it may reduce their respect for you.

I totally disagree with you on the "And how you treat people in a video game is how you're going to treat them in real life." bit. Pretty much no-one would yell and carry on like they do over Live. I wouldnt start swearing and yelling at someone if they did something wrong in real life, like people do over Live when you kill 'em.

I don't really care when people talk trash while playing the game, to a certain extent. It's when they get annoying with it. Like for instance, people that run their mouths constantly saying nonsense and never letting you get a word in to defend yourself or insult them back. I hate those people. They think they just "owned" you because they are still talking, and you've yet to get a word in. I also hate people that talk trash when you 1) just lost a game because of a retarded teammate or you were down 3-4, etc., 2)that talk trash even after you beat them fair and square, over and over again, and 3)that can only insult me by saying "isn't tammy lynn a girl's name". Believe it or not, the third one happens so often after someone gets whooped and can't come up with a better insult/cutdown.

Actually, I love the friendly, heated trash talking. Like if I just got a good snipe shot on some guy, I would try to rub it in a bit. Or if he beat me one on one with the shotgun/pistol/whatever, then I wouldn't mind if he was like, "Yo, tammy man, I totally owned you that round." I just can't stand it when people have to be badasses over the internet.

LMAO, thats kinda sad they cant think of anything better...
Fortunately, people dont trash talk alot to me, maybe because Im always the one owning them There seems to be alot of people saying everyone trash talks but I rarely hear it. Maybe its cos Australians are more friendly? Or maybe it only happens in Ranked, whereas I play Player. Whatever it is, sometimes its fun to go into and American game and team kill just to hear the terrible insults

I love the trash talk on the forums, too. Its preeeeetty funny, especially since no-one can swear and you can tell how much they want to.
