I can't comprehend how it's enjoyable to play this game every day let alone all day every day! Things like WOW and stuff are so big I actually understand how some guys can become addicted. I like to sit down and have massive sessions on games when I decide to play, but I can never get into Gears and other online shooters enough to spend more than 4 hours on them

I love these kiddies who have more than 12 (hell, more than 8) hours per day of pure free time to spend in no other way except playing games. I love the parents who allow this to happen even more. I suppose I'm generalizing here, I suppose these individuals could all just be independently wealthy adults, but I highly doubt it.

It must be so nice (sad?) to not have any responsibilities in life. Forget worrying about going to work, getting fresh air, socialization in any form other than through a headset... I love gaming as much as the next person (probably more than most, it's probably my 2nd largest waste of time besides going to work every day), but I can't imagine devolving into that sort of sedentary state for any great length of time (i.e. I couldn't keep up the pace of 12+ hours/day for more than a few days before I'd need a break).

To you people who have this kind of time to devote every day, I'm genuinely curious: Do you have any jobs, friends, family, or other responsibilities in your life or have you essentially given up on everything outside of playing games, being fed, and sleeping?

Dawn, I'm agreeing with everyone else on this thread. Gaming is also for people who play for fun, not just professionals. That's what it was based off of since the beginning of gaming.
