Finally. Been waiting to play this great game again for a year and a half now. One of my favorites from last gen and I appreciate being able to play it now on the 360.

From what I've played, they did a great job with the BC. Very nice.

Thanks again to Joe and the crew at Epic for creating this amazing game in the first place and your persistance in seeing this process through.

ohhhhh it's a great day. I truly gave up all hope on this a LONG time ago. It wouldn't surprise me if I looked outside and saw pigs flying, and hell freezing over.

After a rather disappointing 2nd Birthday yesterday, I felt heartbroken and woke up today expecting it to be just more of the same ol'. While taking my dogs for a walk, I kept wishing I could get that initial feeling back from when I first played UC2 two years ago.

After reading this thread, I began to feel like a little kid at Christmas once again. FINALLY! All hope is not lost. Even though I can transfer my original UC2 Xbox Saves over to the 360 with the Datel XPORT, I plan to re-unlock everything the good ol' fashioned way. WHOO HOO!

Anyhow, I just played a quick CTF match in Tomb of the Emperors, and this game looks clean and pretty in 1080i. Nice, thanks Epic and Microsoft for this glorious day!

Pretty sweet seeing 10 games online when I look, all of them almost full. I think this game has a chance to thrive once again online. Alot of new and old faces. I'm sure this weekend there will be alot more people on.

Ha ha, you bet.

I haven't seen the main server lobby that full in quite some time. I can only imagine many old faces still had the desire to play, but most of them parted with their original Xbox and only had a 360. Like you said Pigster, this community definitely has the chance to Thrive once again. I'm almost certain many new faces will be introduced to UC2 now that she's BC.

Good games Pigster, Venom, and a bunch of others. Venom, your server has a few issues - but I'm sure you already knew that.

I just need to get used to the 360 controller a bit more. The extra shoulder buttons are a tad awkward, but it still plays extremely well - and the HD visuals are truly splendid! 1080i 1080i 1080i... Because I don't have 720p.

I wanna' CTF revival!

Just to mention, if you buy this XPORT periphreal for your 360, you can easily copy your original Xbox Saves onto a memory card, and then over to your 360's hard-drive and retain all your game saves. They're only like $20 bucks now at Best Buy.

it just upscales. It's still natively rendered at 480p.

I'm just extremely thankful UC2 supports Widescreen in 720p and 1080i. Otherwise, you're forced to constanly switch the video settings back to 480p in the control panel, just to fill the screen.

Many BC titles like Fable and whatnot have the black bars on each side when displaying at a higher resolution. Can anyone actually confirm why this happens with some games and not others?

If UC2 didn't support widescreen on the 360, I wouldn't even bother playing it - since it would be the exact same experience on my original Xbox... thus, why bother. Thankfully though, the visuals definitely received a crisp overhaul.

I can't wait to check out Mercanaries and Wolfenstein.

Snoogans bro im sorry about my server lag haha. My cousin was playing world of warcraft on my PC and takin up a crapload of bandwith lol. Maybe next time u come it'll be a bit better, or if its not im just gonna have to join games.

Tug, good Survival games this morning man.

I've seen that remus guy before - probably from way back in the day. Also, who's that I_AM_REALITY dude?

Anyhow, I was surprisingly doin' alright during these dreaded Survival matches. My gameplay style is similar to that movie Crank with Jason Statham - in that I need to keep moving in an almost drug-induced kind of rhythm just to keep the kill count up. Once I lose that tempo, I simmer down and my composure goes out the window. By the way, I'll have my server on Survival for a while today.

yeh u shud host a 4-6 man survival, i reckon alot of ppl wud try being in it. The Remza Bros is lives a few miles away from me, he a beast for the little time he's played.

This is so great....much thanks to Epic and MS on this....again, I had given up hope this would ever happen.

I'm having fun again unlocking various things. It's so good to hear the greatest announcer in video game history once again: "REJECTED!" "RAMPAGE!" It's good to even see my horrible stats once again....once I unlock the rest of the characters(minus Malcolm since I have no other controller), oh it is SO on. If I didn't have to go to work in the next few minutes, I'd probably play from now until who knows.

Thanks for the kind words man. You were unstoppable with that Rip-Jack and Sapphire. Speaking of which, I just noticed tonight from the seams on her legs that she wears pantyhose... LOL. It must be the high-def graphics.

I enjoyed spectating for a bit and watching your movements. You taught me a few things on Apex that I would've never tried otherwise. I had no idea that was a UK host, since the connection held up pretty well. The lag was only minimal most of the time.

Good quick game to Pigster in Fury. It's too bad my server went cooky and dropped us both. Sorry dude. I have three PC's and two Xbox's running full-time, so things can get a bit crazy.

LOL. My DEDICATED UC2 Server was on Survival, and my eyes were getting a bit dreary before bed-time, so I decided to create a Nali Slaughter Server just out of spite. Sheesh, I haven't played that gametype for months, so it was a nice change of pace.

Not to mention, I'm trying to re-unlock everything in the game, and one of the requirements for Malcolm is to win a Nali Slaughter Match. People can laugh, but killing those poor helpless Nalis is pure unadulterated fun... in moderation of course.

Dude, my recommendation would be to unplug the controller in port 1, then into port 2, and then switch back and forth somehow. Malcolm and Gorge are mandatory bro!

Haha yeah i was lagging like crazy, it was doing this weird thing where my screen would get all choppy and my character would teleport around even when i was standing still. I restarted my 360 and see if it helped with the frame rate or if it was just lag. I still get a bit of a frame rate issue but lag is inevitable

It runs great at 1080i, great that it's anamorphic, but the cgi videos are not (small complaint).

Great work, this should be a big boost to game sales.

So what you are saying is that if I go into the 360 control panel and switch to 480p it won't have the black bars? Also Wolfenstein has some bad frame rate issues even when you are shooting at one person ... I stopped playing it because it got really bad when I was havinb a shootout with two nazis early in the game. It definitely looks better but the fps issue made me put it down. The cool thing was I got all three of these games for $13 and I was starting to get bored with my 360 games and I had just been playing God of War 2 the last two weeks (and waiting for the MUA DLC with the Hulk and Venom) so this was great news. I am just concerned about getting those other characters that was part of the update for this game.

Yep, if you wanna' eliminate those black bars, just turn your video settings to 480p and you'll be ready to rock with widecreen support. Like I mentioned, some emulated games (like UC2) have widescreen support in 720p and 1080i (thank goodness). While others such as Soul Caliber and Fable, only have widecreen support in 480p. Whenever it's displayed at a higher resolution, the vertical black bars become present.

Thanks for the info on Wolfenstein, I haven't tried that game out yet. One thing I do rememeber however, is that game always lagged like crazy - so it may not be the emulation process. It looks like you're waiting for the Marvel DLC too - not to drift off topic or anything.
