Microphone Dead?

My microphone just stopped working out of no where. It was fine last night, but when I came home from school and entered my first match of the afternoon, it wouldn't work.

I unplugged it and plugged it back it, and it still wouldn't work. It wasn't on mute. I don't know what's wrong with it. I hope it isn't broken.

I don't think I was muted by an Admin either, because I haven't gotten any excessive bad feedback or notification about my mic being disabled.

Does anyone have any help?
