General Protection Fault ??!!??!!??

Ok what the hell.

I had this game since it came out, and it ran on the same system all this time up until today. The game itself starts, then i go and click JOIN GAME, and when i click on INTERNET..... it goes to the server browser, but before any servers appear, the game crashes on me and then i get this error:

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2796 MHz with 2047MB RAM
Video: RADEON 9800 PRO (Omega 3.8.330) (6660)

Read my thread too ppl, same problem! I've run UT fine for 2 years, and then today, bam! Same error, only mine got worse! (Thread 'Ah crap...')

Hi,
I have already answered this in another thread critical error - need help.
I guess you have XFire, recent updates 1.70 and 1.71 have caused this .
Exit Xfire from windows toolbar, problem solved.
Hopefully an Xfire update will be around soon to remedy this conflict.
