Default Zoom in, see it or not?

When you're dead and are watching one of your teammates with the longshot. Can you see them zoom in or not? Sometimes I can see them zoom in, and then sometimes I ask them if they're zooming (they say yes) and it shows that they're not.

    only host can see that

If you arent host it just looks like they are aiming but not down the scope.

Have you ever played the game? The few times I have hosted I have seen people zoom in ( two or three games ) out of the hundreds of matches I have played in I have NEVER seen what they see when they zoom in.

Well, I've seen it, both Host or not.....
So, "Only Host sees the zoom as Spectator" is a load of bollocks!

Well, it must be as like I said.....
I see it all the time whether I'm host or not...... So, are you accusing me of hacking my Xbox? Or using a Glitch?!?

Maybe the people who you are watching aren't using the scope full stop... And just using the standard crosshair by pressing "LT", hence never seeing the zoom.
But, as per usual, some people are so narrow minded on this site, and in this game in general, it's unbelievable

No I'm sorry, in the countless matches I have played they have never zoomed in. Even though I know they zoomed in. What was I thinking? Of course you would know how my team mates and even random people I play with play.

I've never seen zoomed in while specing (zoom in as in right stick, not L trigger) and I think they would be if they were on the bridge in Canals aiming at the enemy on the other sniper bridge dude.
