Players reporting nonglitchers?

Tonight in a ranked match there was a team doing the longjump glitch on my team and I said to stop and gltiching could get you banned if someone reported you,

Anyway some bickering went back and forth between me and my 3 team mates and they basicly said all 3 of them would report me, my question is what happens from the point wheres someones reported to when they get banned, is the player reviewed? do people at x-box live watch his matches to see if or not the claims against him are true or not?

I really don't want to get banned because these jerks were glitching and I called them on it.
