What are some of the silliest online complaints about weapons you've heard?

Here's one of mine.

Just the other day, my friend and I were cursed out for using.....

The Lancer.

I kid you not.

Guy on other team(host, actually): "Yeah, great work with that 'nub'(yes he said NUB, not even "noob") Lancer."
Me: ".....are you serious?"
Host: "&%&# you, man! All you guys use is the Lancer!"
My Friend: "You do know the Lancer is one of the weakest guns in the game, right?"
Host: "Don't give me that %*%@! You keep using it every $*#*ing round!"
Me: "Ok. If you keep running up to the sniper tower(this was on Gridlock) round after round, in front of everyone else, and we keep killing you, why are we supposed to stop?"
Host: "......."
Me: "At that point, you should probably try something else, right?"
Host: "....shut the *##^ up.".
Me: "You're the HOST, aren't you?
Host: "Yeah, so?"
Me: "So, your weapons are more accurate than anyone else's in the game."
Host: "......"
Me: "Ok, then. There are alot worse things in this game to complain about. If we were tagging you every round, I could see why you'd complain. Even though it was toned down in the patch, it's still kinda cheesy. If you're running straight into active reload gunfire every round from two people, that's your fault. Curse me out if you want, I'll just mute you."
Host: "Alright, alright."

Has anyone you've played complained about weapons that can be avoided?

Please don't skew this thread into complaints about other things.

Ive never heard anyone complain about any weapon except for grenade tagging back before the patch. Everyone complains about lag nowadays.

The little punks out there can't admit that they got killed fairly so it really doesn't matter the weapon we are talking about, they just b1tch about it.

Uh...I poped a torque bow charge around a corner and a guy jumped on it and died then claimed he died because of host advantage?

and lancer isn't that weak...people only think it's weak because they shoot wildly with it and expect an instant down..

I've gotten more kills with the lancer than anything else.

The only things I hear people constantly complain about are frag tags and "chainsaw n00bs".

most things I hear are not complaints about weopens but complaints about how I can use a tactic with the shotgun and win.

Complaining about the Lancer fire? Wow,that's impressive.

But I've not really heard anything daft regards weapon complaints; just standard stuff. One time someone said "frag tags are noob,so easy to do" on Escalation after I tagged him once (and he got tagged the following round by me!

),but that's about it.

Ive had people call me a noob because I wait by the hammerburst (gridlock) to either shoot the guy going for the grenades of boomshoot. I usally use the lancer or the hammerbusrt. Some people just don't like it when you use a tactic that works.

I heard one guy complain that his dog was jumping on him and knocking the controller out of his hands.
I also heard one guy calling the chainsaw cheap because you can suck someone in from across the map. I told him to rev it up at the start of the next round, and if he got a kill that way, I'd let him kill me every round from then on (this was a 10 or 12 round game). I heard the chainsaw rev when the round started, and all my guys started laughing their asses off. I love stupid people.

In reguards to frag tags, i think if you could choose to turn on friendly fire then frag tags would go down drastically because youcould run yourself into their teammates...

I hate the fact some retards on my team claim the sniper rifle is theirs (or any other popular gun) and tells other players not to touch it. Wtf? It's not your gun ass hole. Is your name on it? Then i proceed to pick up the gun, and i get yelled at. (I do it just to piss the guy off, to prove to him its not just his). Good times.

I've gotten complaints about over-using the torque bow. Off host, too. The host usually isn't stupid enough to complain or get hit very often, but i played this one kid and hit him in the face with a torque bow four rounds in a row. Off host, you have to time the shot well and lead off, but especially with the slightly delay of a torque bow round, it's gotta be perfect. I was lucky enough to be on a very good host that night, so i could hit targets fairly well. I guess i just got lucky on this kid. That, and he was General Raam, and you can't miss him. Big black blob bobbing around the map, whispering stuff so loud it defeats the purpose of the whisper. he b!tched about how the bow was a cheap one-hit kill weapon and bla bla bla, and i told him that he should be able to hear it charging up and stay in cover until it fires off on its own. I still got him when he did that

The dumbest complaint i've ever heard was "that damn boomshot keeps killing me in one hit!!!"

Lol, that might have been my friend. And yes, his dog was actually jumping on him. The day we got GoW, the dog jumped on our 360. The xbox didn't break, but Gears did, and we had to go out and buy another copy.

i don't complain about getting killed by any weapon in the game. There all there to be used so why not use em. If i get fragged tag then i don't see point in complaining about it. they got close to me and fairs fair.

the only weapon i really complain about is the *** tags. I dont like using them and i dont like when they are used on me.

I was in a player match today where the host had changed everything to longshots and demanded that no one use chainsaw. I told him that if he didn’t want us to use the chainsaw he should take it off the map. He said he couldn’t – lol, duh! – and I told him to get over it and quit being a baby.

This game is like paper, rock, scissors. The people that use the scissors think the rock is cheap, the people who use the rock think that the paper is cheap, and around it goes. The truth is that when people think that the paper is cheap, what they are really saying is that they just don’t know how to use the scissors.

LOL the greatest thing I get yelled at for is nade kills. I don't mean stickies but full on just lobbing nades and getting kills. I personally have a nack of pissing off people off when they walk onto or refuse to move when I throw a nade at them. Its as if some players don't acknowledge that nades exist unless they see some jerk running at them hoping to stick them.

I was playing on the mansion map once with a full game of players. What i usually do is go outside and wait near the hammerburstand kill the guy that comes for it. This time, it happened to be the host so i sneaked up behind him and chainsawed him. Then, he starts calling me a stupid ******(wont say its a racist word) and then he removes me from the game. People like that shouldnt play if they cant die fairly and accept it.

On multiple ocassions:
"All you can do is Shotgun"
"All you can do is Chainsaw"
"All you can do is Boomshot"
"All you can do is Frag Tag"
"All you can do is Snipe"
"All you can do is Pistol Whip"
Damn, all I can do is a lot.

I've also heard someone complaining to me about how it was cheap to frag-tag him when it was 2 v. 4 (His team 2, my team 4) but the entire time, all he was doing was using the running glitch. He called tagging cheap, but the running glitch he called "using his resources.:

Only 1 person left on both teams.... me and this kid. I shotgunned him at close range and downed him, then killed him.

Between rounds he was complaining that I only killed him was because of my host shotgun...

...There was a match on Tyro station that involved me torquing the opposing team entirely like, 3 times, because they didn't seem to understand the "Charging noise means get behind cover!" ...so I shot them..and shot them..and shot them...

At one point after a match, one of the guys yells at me. "STOP TORQUING, IT'S A NEWB WEAPON, NEEEEEWB!"

I'm like..."What..?"

"It's a Newbie weapon, don't use it!"

..Torque for Newbies? Please.

I get accused of having host shotty or some other weapon a lot of the time, when

1.) I never host because I don't want people leaving and I want my seriously achievement without hosting because to me it shows that I did it without an advantage.

2.) any idiot and/or monkey can use the shotty, all it is just point shoot and hope that they hit the guy.

3.) I am a tactical thinker so I know where to fight and where to run and what weapon to use in any given situation.

I just get annoyed of being a cheater or host when I clearly don't

The worst complaint I hear is that if someone dies it's automatically related to host even if the person that killed them is off host. It seems grabbing the Hammerburst is a no-no, too. I was playing on Escalation the other day and my team kept complaining that the Hammerburst sucked. Of course, I picked one up when we had top spawn and destroyed the other team with it to prove otherwise.

Most of those complaints I've heard but the worst was probably about the hammer of dawn melee. I downed this guy with the hammerODawn melee while he had his pistol out, raped him a little with smoke and such and hes like "WHAT THE FU*K BULLSH!T, WHAT IS THE HAMMER OF DAWN MELEE OVERPOWERED TOO, F**K THIS GAME". And left, I was stunned
