Yeah, you knew I just had to kick this off. I'm hoping to see some killer wallpapers by the end of this weekend. To start things off, here's my first UT3 wallpaper. It is a redux of a previous work.

Hey just a idea since there was another game at one time with this logo why not come up with something kinda different maybe like the Roman Numeral 3 under the U or 3 claw marks accross the U anyway this is from 2002 so it have been done before..

Already had that picture as wallpaper, but you removed the IGN logo and added the new Unreal logo so I'm going to use yours

Here is one widescreen and one regular size wallpaper I designed with the new name. I accidently put the old unreal font on there by mistake but I promise I wont do that again on my next ones(hopefully).

Thanks, yea the main background is pretty similar to his, all I had done was found a cement texture off of google and tweaked it heavily with bumpmapping and specular lighting on the blood to make it look wet. The Unreal symbol however I think I kept from when Q released the dock icons.

I don't know if anyone is interested, but I have a fairly high-res version of the official logo (3096x2000). It isn't perfect, but I think I got it fairly close to the original.

i get bored of another project so i did a quick wallpaper, its just a remade of the original one whit some little changes, mostly in the typography because i really like the new design.

i get also bored of this, so i throw away the ideas of also redoing the u logo and make a proper background, maybe some day.

Credits to Webtrance (aka Qx9) for his shapes which i modify for my own needs, every letter from the unreal to tournament its layered one by one.

So, after some time and over one hundred of layers this crap come up.



I'm still in the stone age, so all the widescreen resolutions are just random sizes :lol:

Yeah its a shame I went with the colours in a way because the engine has so much detail but slapping the logo onto the images seemed alittle cheap. I figured Id add alittle colour and theming to them just to give them a different look. I used alittle blocking out with black to make the image smaller and focused in on the area I thought looked best.

Really out of all of those the longest thing to do was touching up the red logo to be blue

I know that the logo I posted was a single layer, but, I didn't think to post a layered version. I'll post it when I get home tonight.
