They shouldn't be, it's trueskill, they should be in your same skill level.

i noticed with the the new patch that i was not able to kill with the shotgun as i used. now its i put 2 shots into some at point blank they dont die and they manage to turn around and with one shot kill me. sometimes i get killed at a range where it should do medium damage but its enough to make me go DBNO.

other then the shotgun not workin for me everything else is fine.

If you're not killing the enemy with the shotgun, and then they kill you with the shotgun, the problem is obviously with you and not with the weapon.

Since the patch it seems to be I finally caught on how to effectively move and shoot most of the weapons in gears. I've gone from second to last on my team to the first on my team and the whole other team as well.

no not really ask zoso fan he has seen it many times where the person is standing still and plant 2 shots in their back and they don't die doubt its my connection cause all they other weapons are fine, its only the shot gun

This has happened to me too and it is frustrating. However, I have a hard time attributing this to the patch. Lag sounds more like the culprit.

well from i have seen the way lag works in gears is if you shoot something it should instantly hit it, if you not lagging. if you are lagging then you can pull the trigger while aiming at a wall or something for this test, and you will see a noticable delay in your shot hitting the terget.

i do not notice this delay. also i dooubt lag will only affect one weapon while all the others are fine. its not really sending out the image of me shooting, all its doing is sending out the info to the host saying im standing in this spot at this time pushing this button, after that info is sent, it gets the rest of the details from the disc. just my 2 cents.

I'm having the same problem with the shotgun, and I am not having any lag. I sneak up right behind someone and shoot them in the back of the head twice and I can see the blood spraying off them but it doesn't even down them. They turn around and kill me. It's taking me too many shotgun shots to down someone now since the patch came out.

There is always going to be lag if you're not the host.

we know that dumbledore. but the delay in the shots shouldnt be noticable if you have low lag rate. and it doesnt explain why its harder to kill with the shot then it is other weapons. but now i guess ill jsut have to say far away when in a gu fight just so i dont get cheated out of my kills

And yet you said he turned around and blew your head off.. which indicates that the shotgun works.

I don't have trouble killing people with the shotgun, and I never host.
