    Default Mutators Presets

I think it would be quite usefull if you could save your current list of mutators (maybe even with the configuration given to them). This way you could load completely different kind of mutators configurations in a matter of second, instead of going through the list, putting them back, configuring them again...

I think it would be quite usefull, I often use different mutators and I have many different way of playing using them, and it would be handy. I think it would be something good to add in UT2007.

Agreed, mutator playlists would indeed be nice. Should only be a UI hack aswell.

I have the feeling this sort of functionality wil have to be provided by the next generation of the X-maps and Mapmixer breed.

If this isnt built in, which is most likely, then im going to be all over the hack when it comes out.
Stated above is probably my opinion. Feel free to tell me how wrong it is.

Umm... doesn't UT 2004 use this anyway?

If you put (a) mutator(s) on and play a match with it, it will keep the settings of the mutator(s).

I have a feeling you're probably right, but lets hope Epic throws this in during final polishing or something.

Too many bells and whistles make for a cluttered interface that confuses first-time users.

Sure ... but if the community has to re-invent the wheel every release then that ought to be a sign that such a feature is unlikely to be a bell&whistle.

In fact I'm sure that if Epic were to integrate such a feature then it would be easier to use and thus not nearly as confusing as a mutator that needs hacks and obscure ini-tweaks to function ...

No. UT only remembers the last set of mutators used.

A 'favourite mutatorlist' would allow you to switch between two or more sets of mutators without having to add them all by hand.

And on top of that there's no way to save a certain mutator-specific setting.

With a favourite mutator-set you could switch between :
    - low-grav + instagib + 120 gamespeed
    - 80 gamespeed + mutator x ...

By simpling picking one set instead of having to set and configure all of them every time you want to switch.

I imagine this would be very handy for servers that run mutators.

Defauls -> Voting GameConfig , ever heard of it? You can define sets of mutators and in the Options part you can put things like:
    MaxPlayers=2, MaxSpectators=2, SpawnProtectionTime=0.0, FriendlyFire=1.0, WeaponStay=false, bPlayerMustBeReady=false, AllowThrowing=false, AllowBehindView=false, TimeLimit=15

Though i must admit that this thing can use some tweaking - for example it would be really swell to have a list of all options at hand ...
