    Default 2007 should have an assault/Domination-invasion type mode

    2007 should have an assault/Domination-invasion type mode .

    Yall should have a game mode where legions of red against a legion of blue or against monsters/A.I battling each other for some objective or just for the fun of it or a little bit of both. No vehicals would be involed and when the game starts, the opposing sides will have enough distance from each other so that when they both gain momentum they will collide and just tear each other apart kinda like lord of the rings type but with all the UT2007 in it.

    Or going along the sides of world war one trench warfare type mode

    combining the concepts might make a good mode

    Hm. to get full momentum I don't need a huge map for it. Just a place as big as my character and a dodge.

    So this is what I'll do: I dodge back... ...watch them people collide... ...and spam Flak from safe distance (Friendly Fire is 0% usually anyways). After all them stupids who ran right into battle and died see me survive they will do so from the second match on (the really stupids will start doing so a few matches later). And then some clever people on both sides will discover distance hitscan on large battlefields and nobody will collide anymore.

    TBH: I don't think what you described would work at all.

    it will bascially be like World war 1 trench warfare. that will be even more interesting like campaigning

    Err... WW1 trench warfare (where soldiers are shooting from the trenches they are hiding in) is completely different from what you described in your first post....

    no seriously tho maybe throw ww1 trench warfare / campaging in the mix. dont u think it will be a good mode then?

    Assault and Invasion could be mixed, kinda like Invasion but with a series of objectives that must be completed against hordes of really intelligent AIs that works as a team to prevent you completing you goals. You have to push the invaders frontline and spawn points back.

    It be like AS Motherhip with real Skaarj like in Unreal 1
    or AS RobotFactory with an army of hundred of Robots with their own weapons and tactics.

    The idea you gave is not interesting at all, but Assault/Domination/Invasion? Could be interesting... but only if based against monsters AI.

    Assault like objectives (would look a bit like in UT) but Domination means you need to conquer different positions and objectives against your opponent monsters. Skaarj, Brutes, Krall, no matter what is against you this time, you would need to rage war against these bastards in hope to win the battle and complete your objectives.

    Would be the best way to replicate the Skaarj Wars, or anything like that. I think it could be pretty fun and intense, think when you just taken position in an ennemy buildings, clearing everything in it to see a whole lot of monsters coming outside. Then all your hear is "hold the area, reenforcment is coming!".

    Hey... but anything against humans when combining all these 3 would just be boring

    I see your point with adding the humans in the mix to fight against. but the assault/domination/invasion type mode against an extreme A.I. would be good addition to UT2007 at the last minute so we could play it. upgrades would come in later

    Actually, having the option for monster teams in teamgames might be really cool. Skaarj flag runners, brutes taking and holding nodes and CP, waves of monsters pouring out of the vehicles in Convoy...

    More of a mutator than a gametype, though.

    I think they should keep the number of modes low:

    DM/TDM
    Survival/TAM
    CTF
    WARFARE

    f*** the rest

    well at one time ons mode of ut2004 sounded like a diffrent game did it?
