UT2k7 i will buy absofu*nlutely for sure...

Although my PC can handle some tough 3d scenes, it will be time to upgrade hardware then. Its time for a new Windows and Direct X soon :P

There are tooo many deciding factors IMO.

First and foremost: CAN I RUN IT!

If not, then it's a definate NO!

Then if I like the demo, I will buy it: provding I can run it.
The other issue then becomes do I like it.

UT2k7 will be bought on the first day its released. No hesitation, no questions asked. UT is just one of those games for me.

Absolutely.
Maybe with lowest settings on everything,an ini tweak here and there,and some luck you guys with lesser rigs can run it.After you see and hear about it(after its released)it may be worth spending the money to you to run it.You do not need Epic to tell you its going to be hungry though.The pics and videos should tell you that.

It will not get any better for you with other future games.The specs just keep going up for all games and with the all of the companies signing on to use the UE3 it seems like you will not have much to choose from in terms of new releases in 08 if you cannot push this game.

I'm not, at least not in the first year, because the dodge-jump is going. I used to be on the get-it-first day page, but then I learned that they were taking away the dodge after walldodge too. I'm thinking of moving to ET: Quake Wars or Warsow...gonna see how both of those eventually turn out tho. In the meantime, I'll be doing UT2004.

I'm going to wait till the rerealese or whatever. I have UT GOTY and Ut2k4 ECE so it would seem right to have a set... and maybe they might repeat what happened with2003 and 2004, so Ill wait till then. And my pc will run it.

My computer is not likely to run the game, and I have absolutely no money to waste on my computer. So it may take a while to get it.

Worse is? I know lot of friends who wants UT2007... but they can't even run UT2004 in lowest settings... I can't believe how some people still got so bad computer...

Anyone who says they'll see how the demo is, wins. If the demo is fun to play (i.e. has a good feel to the gameplay) and runs well enough on my system (I'm asking for a minimum of 30-40 FPS on medium) then I'll probably get it, it it doesn't have either of those... well, it's been fun Epic and thanks for UT2k4.

Uh, yeah. I will have to play the demo first. I thought the trailer was pretty impressive, but I recall the days of Half-Life 2 and its trailers, where I was really impressed by them but the game ended up being really disappointing.

Demos don't show much either. They show the best the game has, and whether your PC can handle it, that's it. All the not so good models and maps never make it to demos., so you can't really tell how bad a game truly is till you buy it. Though I don't think UT2007 will be bad, far from it really.

I am definitely going to buy 2k7. It's time to upgrade my computer anyway, it's four years old + now. I enjoy UT so much there's no way I wouldn't buy it.
