    Now there are a good percentage of people who disgust of newnet in every way, but the major good thing about it is it decreases the delay in most guns compared to the default netcode, this is because newnet is clientside which u may all know. Reason I brang this up is because I would rather sacrifice 30 unregisterd shots(dud shots-phantom shots) in one game then to have any delay in the weapon i am using due to whatever my ping maybe. Alot of newbs that have eather gotten UT not long ago or just play in demo servers all day believe that its normal for the Lg or the shock to have a delay, when really there not suppose to have any delay what so ever, they only appear to have a delay from what ever ping you might have. This is the reason i wish UT2007s netcode would somewhat be like, if they could somehow invent a netcode that would almost remove the delay from shots and yet have no unregisterd shots(dud shots). Sadly i dont think this will happen.

    There is only so much that netcode can do. Netcode does not make your connection better or improve routing throughout your area.

    Netcode can make a difference, but in the end it's the internet infrastructure that matters.

    And client-side hit detection does bring quite a few dangers along with it.
