Bombing Run is alive again and better than before. We are half way done with the mod over at the reliquary - www.relicsut.com - under the 'Project Wormhole' link. More info can be also found on our forum.

Expect a beta release soon, with a total re-creation of the classic BR map Anubis re-themed for UT3 while maintaining the same map layout. The new map has been named 'Heroes Of Anubis'

Heh, Bombing Run was my fav gametype back in Unreal Championship...I'd like to see a mod for it.

yeah i am hoping for ALOT of improvements to the browser for UT2007, especially when it comes to Mods and alternate gametypes.

Heh, since this thread was resurrected from the dead, I had to react to this pre-release hope, so completely dashed by the reality of UT3's universally despised browser capabilities. Love the game, but this sort of sentiment is so hard to remember, nowadays. Was there really a time when we wanted UT3 to improve on UT2's UI in any way, especially the browser? Hahaha!

Bombing run was the game mode I enjoyed the most with my lan buddies as well as Assault. Good to see the community working on bringing BR back, thanks for your hard work.

well yes there was! UT & UT2kx browsers were good, they did the job. but of course there was room for improvement and of course those of us who play alot and especially those of us who work on and play mods were hoping that there would be more support for mods and other modded gametypes in the browser when UT3 (UT2007) arrived...

unfortunately, the browser is one of the areas where the BALL got DROPPED we can all still hope and i really gotta believe that Epic would like to get us a browser that not only is as good as UT/ut2k4, but better and more feature rich than ever before. with lotsa mod support, options and yaknow "Cool Stuff"!
