    Default Question about the vehicles

This thread could be used for all the questions people have on vehicles.

Here are some of my questions:

Are the dark walkers going to actually be walkers or hovercrafts in disguise (like the tanks in UT 2004)?

And for that matter are tanks going to remain hovercrafts?

(the second question isn't really that important since it doesn't really alter game play).

they said they did some major changes with the tank, so it doesn't feel like your driving a brick around anymore. lets hope so.
not that I'm much for vehicles but i will give it a shot when it comes out.

I don't really care about the vehicles either still those pictures look very impressing.

My hopes are going out for a good Deathmatch and CTF (with Translocator and not Hoverboard...)

The vehicle physics are going to be properly done i.e. the tank will have tank track physics, and the darkwalker will have (some form of) leg walking physics. The hover trick is no longer required.

Hmmm, how to explain about the "leg physics"...... Aha, Foot placement calculation, get it? The Darkwalkers seems to look like floating tanks with the leg pulling them around to me.

The Axonside vehicles are the ones known from ut2k4, with some new feat. From the necris we know already the Dark Walker, the Nicristank from some Vids (dont know the name of it), a motorbike-like hovering vehicle from some artworks and in the artikle from gamesport today (Link) are describeted a "f-14-like" fighter and a groundvehicle called "Nemesis".

the dalkwalker is actually hovering : the yellow shiny ball is hovering, and the legs "pull" the whole vehicle, so the legs don't have the walker's weight on them, and they can go about anywhere(as long a a leg can climb on it)
