Vampire Techniques

Since I switched to a necris I have learned that its important to turn on vampire when I engage an enemy. However, I hear about all kinds of techniques with Vampire but I do not know any of them!

What techniques do you guys use with Vampire to get more health or whatever.

poison clouds groups of two or more and break out rockets or any other explosive

- also, if you are ever up against 2 or more enemies at all vampire puts you at a huge advantage, youve got extra targets to pull life from, if you are in a real pinch throw on vamp and nimble and rain rockets down on em

UDamage + Vampire!

It seems when I snipe someone for half their health i get less life than when I shock rifle them, or when I poisen cloud them I get more life than a fully loaded gook to the head. Is it just my imagination!?!

fully loaded goop to the face + enemy with full or lots of health = great vampre health gain

if the enemy has less health then you get less from them obviously

If your Judas and you turn vampire on then do Vampire Cloud you get double health from it (I believe..)

Also note that when going up against a light character, you will have less added to your health bar since even though the bar is the same, it does not represent the same health. The same goes for a heavy. You will gain more health to your bar than you take away from them since their health bar represents more health.

As for vampire techniques? I like to go for the goop cloud. i gain health from them taking hits and gain even more health from hitting them. If somebody turns on heal, it means more health for me to take away from them.

I dont use vampire much anymore though after discovering everything wraith can do. As a necris, wraith should be your best friend. You are unlockable, unfreezable, unflashable, etc. unpoisonable, fear and primal scream does not work against it, you take less damage, you can see players better and can even see invisible and ethereal players. I still use vampire a few times a game but with wraith enabled, i dont get hit nearly as much meaning less need for vampire. I also use wraith and vampire together sometimes when I am low on health

I agree in most cases I try to use Wraith as well, but some times like when your head up with someone rockets vs rockets or whatever vampire can be the difference in helping you come out on top.

The most useful tip on vampire is use it BEFORE your almost dead!!!!

Vampire should be used with guns. With UD, turn on vampire and use your pistols to Infect people it does about half damage and it can nearly kill a light character at spawning health. Siphon combo's well with Vampire aswell. The Damage it's doing builds up in the spell along with your health bar. Then it returns the spell's damage 2 you. So Vampire doubles that aswell. UD, your pistols, and siphon, can kill any character. If it doesnt kill them, then a rocket/melee dash or something will end it.

Ethereal + Wraith keeps me alive longer nomrally. But Vampire+Wraith is the best full out offensive tactic for a necris. Build up adren for speed then build up more with speed vamp and wraith on. Then boom your there on the score board.

Stinger + vampire + Fear = Absolutely DEVESTATING in a one on one. Best combo right there. There is absolutely no escape for your opponent. They can't use their adreniline to heal or get away. If they reflect shots back at you, you are getting health with every hit so its like they aren't even reflecting at all. Its just flat out rape. Almost to the point of being cheap. Great against mowing down juggies who think they can reflect and melee you all day. *cough*castlekingside*cough* lol he's the one who actually showed me that combo. Can't remember who he said he got it from though.
