Charater Trouble.

I cant seem to find a charater that fights my playing style it's so damn annoying. Does anyone really have any tips on how to find a char that would fit your needs?

(I also have spelling trouble but i bet you cant help me with that)

Theres really only 3 player types.Heavy = full health and low agility,light = full agility and low health,and medium = medium with both. If your heavy then practice reflect to survive.If your light dodge like hell.If your medium be good with dodge and reflect. Find one that has a good feel for you and stick with that type. Then find all the players that are the type you like, and see wich one you like best.Some people will probably disagree but,thats all the help I can give you.(Togre is a cross between Heavy and Medium types)

Adrenaline matters too. You should know which characters have which adrenaline moves. I think you press white at the character select screen. And Brock is definately one of the most agile mediums.

And certain characters like Szalor and Torgr are immune to poison, so are a little better for the Bio Rifle, if that's what you use.

Really the only few things you got to take into consideration is how well you can play with a heavy medium or light (speed wise) find the character class you play best with once discovered you need to find the adrenlin skills you use the most or find most effective, look at you adrenelin usage menu, if you discover that you use homing, heal alot and play best with medium characters then malcoms your guy for example.

I love Torgr but i cant seem to use him tp full potential. I usually use the Biorifle with him becuase the my own poison cloud wont affect me and i could always chuck on blade shield and just into em with Rockets... that give me a idea > muhahaha.

if its your biorifles poison cloud you wont get affected from it regardless of your char what you need to do is find a char who you utilize the adrenelin for i'll use my char as an example to help you

i use torgr for his unusual amount of health, and the adren skills primal scream, blade shield, regeneration, and preditor

use primal scream in situations that you would normaly have difficulties with for example malcom with sentinels you see em comming just yell at him and everytime i see selket and anubis just primal scream them so they can flash and energy burst

blade shield is very effective agaisnt rocket and flak cannon users cause more often then not they will run if they know what the shield does if they dont run then charge them with a melee because a rocket user with u damage does less damage hitting you with the shield on then if he hit the ground near you without u damage and without blade shield

regeneration is usefull for CTF on defense or even offense and your hiding somewhere with the flag or somewhere to ambush the flag stealer cause you havnt got time to go find max health but your adrenelin accumulates over time

and lastly preditor is very usefull agaisnt melee whores because torgr already does massive damage for a medium character so you use it to do more damage and become faster more often they will attpemt to run and if you get good at reflecting you wont have any doubts with this skill

if theres any char you are somewhat interested in post it i can list the benifts of the char seeing i just about went through them all

I wasnt good with Torgr till last night becuase if wasnt really good enough without a char with some sort of escape ir finisher move (selket Sapphire Lauren). But i chucked my X sensitivity up and now i can snipe decently so i dont need them.

So i tried Torgr again it worked for me and fun thing is if i ever decided to use rockets Blade Shield helps me incase i screw up and someone tried to reject em.

after reading warpigs post i had to go test whether or not if in fact you got poisoned from your own bio cloud and the verdict is you DO NOT get poisoned from your own cloud i just ran a test using anubis and unless he suddenly became a skaarj i think some one owes me an appology for calling me a lier

devestation is one of the lesser characters if you ask me others may disagree

her adrenelin limits her ability to affectly how do you say it OWN others if you will

cannibalize isnt very usefull because it strips away life and her life if already limited and ammo isnt difficult to come across

head turret is her only effective skill but the thing is that because it shoots only 3 shots per burst its easy to reflect all three back at however i suppose you can reflect those same 3 shots back as i did with malcom

upgrade can be usefull if your skilled with her but because her health is low i didnt find it to useful torgr and other mediums can still kill her with two well timed air lunges

and radar you wont really ever use cause you'll wnat that adren for head turret

going melee with devesation is balsy because she has limited range with her tiny little blades at least selket has a bit of range

although she may sound not the greatest she can be good just gotta utilize her incredile speed

So how do you figure that? He does the same amount as Anubis. Sounds like you're describing Szalor.

Using Melee with a light is almost always a bad idea, unless you use a dive attack, in which case her weapon size doesn't really matter.

malcolm is pretty good, with his homing and sentinels

he's melee attacks are long and fast.

Sentinels are easily subjected to spam rejecting dont ever use them against a decent opponent. [face_shame_on_you]

malcoms sentinels arnt bad if you rush the opponent with melee lunges to give them as little time to reflect and possibly use up all there energy on sheilding your lunges

seriously if your in survivor the arenas arnt terribly large it doesnt take long to find your opponent and even if they run from you her speed will allow you to catch up to them or cut them off. torgr get just about no health from a small health booster whereas malcom another medium gets about twice the amount torgr can also kill light chars in 2 areial lunges with out charging them malcom for example needs to do 3 or 4 without charging

Torgr and Malcom do the EXACT same amount of damage. No difference what-so-ever. They both need three lunges to kill a light. And they boyh get the same amount of health from the health pickup. LIAR!!!
Maybe you should actually try things out before assuming.

And, radar is a great move for Survival. You can suprise the opponent if you know where they are. But, you just keep doing that head turret one on one.

Well, I don't play teams, so the advice I give is for survival, which is the best game mode to prove your abilities with a character.

i dont know why but when ever i play torgr it seem that the health and damaged is always more compared to malcom i dont know why if they are indeed supposed to be alike because i just ran it again and it seems differnt to me but i guess not if 1 other aside from warpig says its the same

yeah survivor is pretty good to test out your skill level but not if you host cause you still got that advantage trouble is the unreal server is always full lol i can never get in to it

Maybe you have handicaps on if your playing single player while your testing it. Alhough i wasnt testing it on a light char i was usen Torgr and Brock and trying it not Malcom so there are variables involved.

Well i played Judas for a while ... i hate him he's just a ****ty char and he looks gay only thing going for him is vamp cloud which seems a bit powerful.

So i tried Calypso and i think i found my new favorite char cuase i do great with her.[face_grin]

So i finally found the char of my liking so there for.
