I need help

I can't get passed the first challenge in challenge. I'm also stuck on fighting Torgr 1-on-1. I just can't beat him for two rounds. Any pointers out there?!!

You can't beat Torgr? What difficulty is it at? I did it easily by shooting as he'd trie to get close enough to melee me if he spotted me first, then switching to melee to finish him off. Or if I spotted him first, which was most of the time, I'd do a fully charged jump attack into his back which would take a large chunk out of his health then finish him off with melee. (In case you can't tell I use melee A LOT)
