Default RE: System Requirements for UT 2007 -- to be releasd early or mid 2006?

I agree. $400 for a system when I'll probably only find a couple of games that I really enjoy for the whole life of the system isn't really worth it. I think I paid too much for my xbox, and it was only $150 when I bought it. It's an expensive hobby. I used to find alot more games I enjoyed back in my PS1 days. An older PC games used to rock, like doom and diablo. Now everyone cares about mmo rpgs, and war/tactical shooters, which I don't like much.

And I wish I had a job where my pc upgrades paid for themselves. That'd be awesome.

WARPIG got owned!! Both UC2 and your consoles suck. Personal Computers are light years ahead of consoles. Thats just the way it is.

And please note that I said 'freedom', not 'can do a few other things other than gaming'. This concept can even even be applied to PC gaming itself. If you don't understand what I mean, say so, and I will explain further.

And also please note that I wasn't insulting consoles. I was just pointing out a few differences.

I may go the PC route this time around. The new consoles are so expensive, and with rumors of MS having anti-m/kb protocols, I may enjoy the PC Quake 4 much more. I'll probably be able to get some hardware free from friends and relatives, so no biggy. I'll definately look into a VGA to TV adapter, and a wireless M/KB so I can play from my couch.

Sony has the right idea, but unfortunately, they won't be getting Q4 or TES: Oblivion, so I will need a PC for M/KB, which I feel is much better for FPS. I'll probably get a PS3 later on for the fighters, racers, and Adventure games though.

See, I'm not a fanboy. I just want the best gaming experience. No blind devotion for me.

Very good, i had my co-worker get one and he loves it, and cheap. You can build it yourself, but Ibuypower is very competitve.

THE BEST AROUND!! Very, very very expensive. Semi-local for me also. Company has gotten more awards than any other specilaty computer maker.

I'll have to build my own a little at a time. Too expensive to buy a complete PC.

Still worth while to give them a look though. They have cheap customizable PC's, tech support and warranty. If not for the fact that i enjoy building them, i would go to Ibuypower.com for mine.
