Really though, if you release a good demo, more people will buy it! look at the Fight Night demo... supposivly EA and Microsoft said it raised sales by 5%... thats still pretty good. And one of the most antcipated titles of 2006... you gotta release a demo! lol, Lost Planet already got my money with their demo ^_^

But i guess its up to Epic if they really want to put together a new demo, a demo already shown or whatever... or maybe they just want to give the people the full experience this holiday... but i personally would love a demo, single-player or multiplayer

I understand what you're saying; I loved the Fight Night and Lost Planet demos too. However, with a game like GOW, I want to play it when it's the most polished and complete.

If it's joke keep it a joke. I like the surprise factor to gaming. If a demo comes out it would make me play the demo til i master it and then the fun is sucked out of the real game. So basically I say don't make a demo.

i dunno dude, some demos make games good, like Moto GP 06, i wasnt even going to touch it until i played the demo, im def buying it for sure now. demos also can help for people that didnt want to buy it in the first place and people like us who want the game, so we can finally taste som of the sexiness that gears has to offer.

Demo would be sweet, but like others I think I would rather wait on the fully polished version. Granted, if one comes out I will be downloading as soon as they offer it

hey man i mean no disrepect at all but you probably cannot think of a game out there with as much press as GoW. its on magazine covers, faceplates, mtv specials, and won the best something award at E3, so you really cannot compare it to MotoGP 06 because they are not even in the same ballpark as far as publicity is concerned. people who buy this game r not wondering well do i think this game is that good? they already know its going to be awesome without even playing it. u know what i am sayin?

also they, someone from epic, did say in an interview that there would NOT be a playable demo on the marketplace until after the game launches. sorry guys

yea but those games didnt get as much publicoty as GOW has. You ask someone on like what lost planet is and if they havent downloaded the demo they probly dont know what it is. you ask them if they know what GOW is and they will most likely know what it is.

this vid was posted before, but it seems alot of people didn't see it or pay enough attention. near the end of the livewire e3 commentary, Rod Ferguson says that if they do a demo, it won't be pre-release, meaning there won't be a demo out before the game is out.

He is not comparing them at all. Hes saying that he wouldnt have touched it until he played the demo. I have friends now whom are not going to buy the game. I think that if they had a demo that they would. As for me I wasnt planing on buying lost planet or motogp. Until I played the demos I now have Motogp and lost planet is reserved and payed for.
