Refined Searching

While its great to see people posting in both the Gears of War and UT2004 forums, I know some of you would prefer it if you only received “new posts” from your favorite forum. If you would like to search for new posts only in the Gears of War forum, click on the following link and then bookmark the page. When you click on your bookmark you will be shown new posts for the Gears of War forums only:

If you would like to search for new posts only in the UT2004 forum, click on the following link and then bookmark the page. When you click on your bookmark you will be shown new posts for the UT2004 Forums only:

http://utforums.epicgames.com/search...,316,321,322,6

Both of the above searches also include the “Official Messages” forum so you don’t miss any important news. You can make your own custom searches as well. Each forum has an ID number associated with it. You get the forum ID from the end of the forum's URL; after the "f=". You may also want to search every forum except for 1 or 2, in which case you would use “exclude” instead of “include” in your search, like the following. This will search for new posts in every forum except for “Epic Games General Chat”:

http://gearsforums.epicgames.com/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=7

What about the UT3, UC, UDK and Bulletstorm (and later Fortnite) forums? Do they have a special search site as well?

I would like to request activation of the option to search specific forums only. When I try to find something UDK-relevant 90% of the hits doesn't even relate to UDK. Annoying and this makes it hard to find anything useful without opening new threads. Thanks!
Edit: just found out there's a second "search forum" link. Well hidden. However I'd still like to see an option to select specific forums when using advanced search!

Right! I agree with this statement! And do U know besides babylon, google, yahoo? anything else has excellent search tool? Wish you funny and work efficiently in a first day of week! Break a leg!
