    Its easier to control a server if u got webadmin enabled:
    Open ur UT2004.ini (in ur drive:\UT2004\System)

    [UWeb.WebServer]
    Applications[0]=xWebAdmin.UTServerAdmin
    ApplicationPaths[0]=/ServerAdmin
    Applications[1]=xWebAdmin.UTImageServer
    ApplicationPaths[1]=/images
    bEnabled=True
    ListenPort=80

    [Engine.GameInfo]
    AccessControlClass=xAdmin.AccessControlINI

    Ur done WebAdmin enabled

    Open ur game,click on host game,pick ur gametype,configure the maplist,the game rules (u got a box at the bottom,if u tick it u can configure advanced options) ,the server rules (advanced options there too) u can set a PW there if u want and the mutators.
    Go back to serverrules,check if webadmin box is ticked (it should) then if u want a dedicated server ,click on dedicated (server can run even if u don't want to play).

    If u click on dedicated the gameinterface will disappear:
    on ur screen ur back to desktop with a grey box with allota data,ur server is running.

    In ur case u'll got the line scriptlog:Webserver is enabled

    To go to webadmin panel,copy ur ip:
    xx.xxx.xxx.x sumthing like that in ur browser then click ok.
    No need to enter a port if u have left the webadminport to its default value of 80.

    The default username and PW are Admin Admin
    Enter both
    Tick the small box ur logindata will b recorded in ur browser and click ok.
    This way,u can easily add mapvoting,add/remove bots,change gametype while server is running

    right, i've got as far as using the web admin, but the default user and pass don't work :S

    edit: ok, I've solved that problem but now i've got another.

    When I try to connect to my new server in the game it will never connect, and after a while i get an arror saying connection failed. any ideas on why this is?
    I've also noticed that in the server list, my server's ping is shown as N/A.

    assume you are behind a router/firewall...

    you need to open..

    7777 UDP/IP (Game Port)
    7778 UDP/IP (Query Port)
    7787 UDP/IP (GameSpy Query Port)
    28902 TCP/IP (Allows your Server to Connect to the UT2004 Master Server Browser)
    xxxx TCP/IP (Port set via ListenPort that your WebAdmin will run on)

    If u got a router try this:
    http://www.portforward.com/default.htm
    http://home.comcast.net/~steve.denver/ports.htm
    Or do as i do:use a simple USB modem.

    OK I've set up quickly a 3369 invasion server and i've checked,it was in serverbrowser with a ping.
    I've uploaded the UT2004.ini I used to get that server running.
    What u could try is backup ur UT2004.ini then replace urs by mine and try to set up again ur server.

    no, I still get the ping showing N/A, but I've just remembered, i've recently moved home, and this affected all my internet, so i actually am working behind a router, although i cannot access it's configurations from this pc, only my dads. So i guess that this will be the problem.

    Sorry to have caused any inconvenience, i know you have wasted alot of your time trying to help me, and i'm truly sorry.

    I'll post back once i've gained access to my router controls, and try to fix the problem.

    Sorry again,

    Landerin.

    Are u trying to enter you're server on a local network? If so its normal u see the n/a at internet list, try the lan tab there u will see your ping, and u can join. Hope this helps, have fun.
