Linux Patch query

Howdy all,

I have downloaded the 3355 patch for Linux, however I can't seem to find any instructions for the installation of it.
Do I copy the contents of the tar file into the System directory?

Please give me some advice as I have no idea what to do with it.

Yes just copy it over.

How do i get this to install the patch, I'm a bit new to Linux and i'm not sure how to install this file:

ut2004_3355-multilanguage-x86_64.update-2.run

its a torrent file!! it says it's 14mb when u click on it but it only downloads as 9.7kb.

i've done a chmod to make it green in console, is that right???

i downloaded the actual files but when i copy them into the folders in the UT2004 base directory the game wont start. Thats why i thought this would be an easy solution, i was wrong. lol

i'm stumped.
