So, if you have seen the E3 2006 Livewire Commentary you know what the beginning of the game will be like. So, will you go the safe way throught he Guards Quarters, or go balls-out through the prison blocks?

For me I will probably go throught he Guards Quarters. Just becuase it is something new that I haven't seen yet. Eventually I will pick both ways and beat the game on all difficulties, but I think the first time I play through I will go through the Guards Quarters.

i will go the safe way just so i can get used to the controls and active reload. And also just to see what it is like. As we have all seen the other way.

te first time i play i will do the guard's quarters then when i replay i will go stratight to the prison blocks

probably not on the first level, maybe later in the game

well we all do know the controls, b/c i have posted pictures of the "controls page" that shows the controller and labels all the buttons and we all have read numerous previews of MP and SP that tell us the controls as well as cliffy and EPIC stating them while showing the demo or in interviews

let me sum it up for u

A=cover.....
B= melee, hold for chainsaw
X=execute, revive/curbstomp in MP
Y=(hold)point of interset
RT=fire
LT=aim mode
RB=reload
LB=hold and press A,B,X, or Y to command your team, like in NBA live
analog sticks =move and look around
right analog stick straight down(click)=zoom with sniper

lol, well actually i posted the controller pad pic a long time ago(before u were a member) and i also made a thread about the controls which states all of them just like i did there

well i want to play both(GQ first) b/c i want to get the full GoW experience, i am probably going to play the GQ first beat the game then play it again and go through the PB, beat it, (while playing some MP in between

) and then doing it all over (porbably like 10 different times b/c u can split up) in co-op b/c it would be a whole other expierence, i can't wait!

yea thats a good point! i forgot about the split paths. we are all gonna have to play this game 20 times to check out all the paths!! no biggy, i'd rather do it that way because this game will be amazing.

but first im gonna take the Prison blocks (my sig) just so i can chainsaw a locust as one of the first things i do!

plus, i love the action in this game. once i beat it, then i will play through the guards quarters.

2 options:

OPTION 1:I would definetly go for the guard's quarters and get used to the controlls. Maybe there is a stockpile of weapons in the quarters for the player to train on! Then i will go through the prison blocks and die the first time because my noobish ass isn't use to the real combat, lol, then i will beat it. Then i will go back and beat it on different levels.

OPTION 2: Get a friend on co-op and go balls out through the prison blocks!

come on u mean atleast twice a week

but seriously this game is going to rock and have tons of replay value not just from the MP, but from the amazing story and Co-op possiblites

Yea, im definantly going the hard way......after waiting in line for about 3 hours till midnight for the release...me and my friend are going to go back home and play coop then split paths...And yes, I am going to make him go the easier route....One..because were going to be playing on my 360...and two...I like to get straight into the action!

Could be a possibility....look at my 'mansion level' thread in general chat. Cliffy B says in an interview with gamesmaster....you can enter in multiplayer at any time u like. So the beginnig of the first level may b a possibility....

i think that the split paths for the first level wont happen. because the right path is the training level. so why would you have someone going through an easy training level while the other person gets mowed down by locusts? if you think about it, it starts making sense.

i think it would be a good idea to split up, lez say you are really good but you are playing with a buddy who doesnt have the game or hasnt played before. he can get the controls down while you go destroy stuff

as for which path i would take...it all depends if my wife is watching, she doesnt like it when i play gorey games. if she is watching, i'll go to the path with the fewest amount of locusts...if not...well then watch out locusts!
