    Post DM-Sorayama2

    Name: DM-Sorayama2

    Version: 1.0

    Compatibility: UT2004

Description: UT2004 remake of UT99 PlayStation 2 map DM-Sorayama. Simple, straightforward, and not for big crowds.

Comments: I made this map after suffering a hard drive failure last month and losing hours of work I'd put into another map. I didn't have the heart to redo it at the time, so I did this. It didn't take long to do, by virtue of its small size and simple layout. I don't recommend any more than four players on this map, though I suppose it could accomodate up to eight, if playing InstaGib or if everyone loves spam.

    Screenshots:

Credits: Epic/Atari/DE for the original DM-Sorayama. Myself for this remake.

    Unhappy probably hopeless but...

...does anyone have this? A google search only brings up two entries (this thread and another page with dead links).

Yep, same page I found which came the closest to finding the map. I went ahead and e-mailed him, so we'll see what happens.

Nope, no replies yet. I think I have this map for the original UT game. Though, it would be nice if this one was found.

I have UT-PS2 and DM-Sorayama is one of the best maps, fast paced and fun to play. Now, this remake looks über-epic and cool.
I'd be a shame if it got lost... Let's just hope someone managed to retrieve it.

makes me wonder if there should be a lost and found area on the epic forums, so anyone in the forums might run across it instead of just people within a certain game,

it also encourages me to dig up past cd's i've backed up content on, and upload it to databases like gamefront, that is if it isn't available anywhere.

If you have it for original UT99, maybe I can take a crack at converting it.
