UT2004.ini file

Hey guys I just bought the game last night when I installed the game. An error came up when I was trying to run it. It told me i had to delete the ut2004.ini file to prevent this happening again. Well i did and the ini file came back. I did remove my Ikeys, and Iwheel mouse drives that was my wireless set. Any idea's on this.


I'm running a duron 1400

mem 512k 3300
harddrive 120 gigs
video card "32 meg tnt 2 ultra but this weekend I will have a 128 meg ati radoon 9200 "
sound card is from the mother board

I think thats about it any ideas please help me?

The game automatically rebuilds your ut2004.ini file from the default ini file each time you delete it. That way if you do a major upgrade to your machine you can just delete the ini and the game will rebuild based on your new specifications.

Did the error still come up the next time you started the game?

BTW: a 32MB TNT is possibly a bit low spec for 2k4, a 128MB 9200 will be an improvement.

It keeps happening every time i try to run UT2004. I never did any upgrades before I bought the game.
