THIS VERSION IS THE ONLY 'OFFICIAL' ONE: I know that some persons whose I'll not give the name already did illegal conversion(s) of my work on this design and though these 'hacks' present my name into the level description they're NOT mine. Looks pretty sweet from the pix, D/L'ing now. Any chance that you will be porting some of your other 2k3 maps over, and perhapse remake some of your UT ones as well? they were all amazing maps

I was under the impression that all ut2k3 maps played on ut2k4, why the need to port?

There are many reasons, the most common of which are black textures, lighting incompatability, and skybox errors, and lose of colision in surfaces. There are more, but I come across them less often.

Umm, I just loaded it up, and its as beautiful as I remember... but I found a rather large bug. you have rain ambiant sounds, and rain clouds, but no rain anywhere. I checked my weather effects option and it was checked. Could you please fix this? PLEASE?

Well i got the rain to work, but why is it texture dependant? I am 95% sure all rain i came across still showed up with textures set to normal. any way you could fix this?

Love this map! But why, oh why, is the ambient sounds so deafening? It's a 1on1 map where listening for you opponent is a *major* part of the game and that is simply not possible on this map. Otherwise it just kicks all sorts of a**!

Unfortunately this seems to be some sort of new fad among mappers. Both the CBPs and the 1on1-pack has several maps that suffer from overwhelming ambient sound level. The 1on1-pack IMO was completely useless for its intended purpose because of this (but not only because of this

)

I would love to see this map with the ambient volume set lower so you can actually hear your opponent, if nothing else in a "TE/LE-edition" because it is a map that deserves playing.

My review:
Good atmosphere, visuals and flow. Some details are less-breaking and less-tearing apart and the sounds are deafening (all because of rain/thunderstorm). Rain scenario is embarrassing and the skybox is interesting. Virtual place for dodging and plenty of z-axis that you frag the most. Great gameplay and the bots are fine here.

This map is GREAT! Gameplay is the best thing about this one. Z-Axis everywhere.
The whole construction of the map is really nice. I like it a lot. But what destroys the theme is the usage of the abbadon tex pack. Everywhere you look you'll see a detailed wall or a detailed floor. It's all too detailed which turns into eyecancer sometimes... I'd rather have seen this with some basic textures.

Generally a real good map...

I actually fear for my soul when I play this map; great eerie atmosphere created with archaic and detailed textures/meshes, skybox, rain, thunder, sounds, shadows, skulls, dragons, ghouls, eyes, lava and other imagery; the gameplay is great too with plenty of z-axis and flow and connectivity and the bot is good; I still love the details in this one and it’s one of Gui’s finest creations.

Playing against a bot with the Ghostrider voice pack helps to add to the atmosphere also.
