What kind of music do you guys listen to while you play? Rock? Rap? Techno?....Country? LMAO or even the default game music?... Personally i like high beat techno, keeps my fingers moving quick.

Thats why you set the music volume lower than the effects volume...so it doesnt get in the way.

I sometimes forget there IS music in the game... it's the first setting I kill after install... anytime someone posts a topic about it I'm like, huh? music? What music?

Anyway, yeah... I'm listening for every footstep, or from where a manta might be approaching. Haven't played with music even since the days of UT99.

I usually turn off music, but one time I turned on Ride of the Valkyries (The attack helicopter song) and went blowing everything up with a raptor. That was cool.

I find that a nice bit of hard edged techno or drum&bass is perfect. Love the original UT soundtrack!

AFI, KoRn, System Of A Down, The Offspring, Linkin Park. I only listen to custom music when playing the local fun maps liek TempleOfTrials, ScorpionRace, etc. When I'm playing normal game I like to listen to the actual UT2004 music, as that sets the theme of the level.

I'm still enjoying the in-game music for some reason it gets me going. I'm not a fan of that style, but it seems to add to the game :up: Once I get bored with it I'll prolly switch to breaking Benjamin, Finger 11, or some other good hard rock.

Usually origional game music, though at a low fractoin of origional sound. Music sound is at about 20 for me while FX are at 100.

Personally though I prefer techno, trance, house, basically anything like that. Listening to the Ambient lingering space stuff lately and I really like it .
