Export static meshes from UED to Maya?
There's a static mesh in the default UT2004 packages that I want to use in my Alien Swarm map, but I need to tweak it in order to use it. Is there some way I can export it to a format that Maya can read without damaging the smoothing groups or uvs?
I already did a search on the subject and didn't come up with any satisfactory answers. Maybe a fresh post will turn up an answer
Export as an .obj, this preservs the first mapping channel only. As for smoothing groups, u may be able to get them back with a weld on the vertices.
