Bug in serverbrowser?

hey peeps, is this a bug in the server browser? becouse i can't get it back to normal, any help appreciated.

I Hate when people cpomplain of a bug, post a pic, but dont secribe what the hell we're looking for and it's some tiny little hidden thing in the corner!!

I guess he means he's selected Deathmatch as the game type but it's also listing Assault and Capture the Flag maps at the top.

That happens to me too sometimes, but I don't lose any sleep over it.

Mby its cause some servers run DM on CTF, Assault, ONS maps etc..
Not hard to do, no mutators needed.. Just a consoll command.

or maybe because most of the map names last letter doesn't show up even though there is plenty of room left.

Those CTF and ASSAULT maps r just being played as deatmatch.
I want the "Players" and "Ping" options back, but i can't do it don't know how..

its cool I instantly knew what you were talking about, maybe these guys need to spend more time in UT to recognize the difference.

But there are a lot of things wrong with the browser, like this for instance:



When you hit the refresh button in "Internet" then go to check your buddy list, the servers load in the buddy window and you have to restart UT to make it go away.

I could almost bet that u downloaded the inis of another player (mtw crush? :bulb: ) and that it looked like this after that.Was the same for me,just window it(alt,enter) and then u can see the ping and players tab in the right corner.Then pull it back.

My double domination tab always loads the same things as Deathmatch, :bulb: but i dont play DOM anyway, so i dont really mind it all that much.

i like to stay original my own settings are the best for me.

both methods didn't work :S

mann this is really annoying, i can't play on pubs, also my favorites are empty.

Here are the default column settings for the server browser (internet tab) in user.ini:

Compare that to what is in your user.ini and see if it's the same (it shouldn't be because your map list column is too wide). If it isn't the same then copy and paste that over the one in your user.ini.

If that doesn't work, try renaming your user.ini to userbak.ini and then start up ut2004. It should make a new user.ini with the correct serverlist column settings.
