    Cool Runtime error... please help...

My comp really screwed up and I had to tell it to restore to original windows settings and now UT2004 always has sometype of runtime error and I can't get it to work. I already reinstalled it but it still has the same error. Please help.

THIS WILL FIX THE PROBLEM IF YOU HAVE RUN TIME ERROR

    go to http://www.fragilicious.com/modules....op=MostPopular

    1. download UT 2004 No CD patch

    2. put new UT2004.exe in your UT2004/system folder

    3. when it asks to replace file, click yes

    Viola problem solved.

I spent many hours with tech support and they could not help for anything, so I took it upon myself and found this solution.

If he/she is patched with the lastest ... they won't need the no CD patch DOH as the CD/DVD is not required.

    Need more details on this.....

oddly enough, i backup up my patched 3204 patched exe, put this in there, and instead of it giving me the usual runtime error, it gives me some weird error where it says "Video: No Video" in the error report, like i don't have a video card =p

I had the no video problem when I was trying to use the DirectX9 renderer.
