Not sure what your question is :bulb: but turn it up then.
I've got mine at like .65 and been known to go all the way up.

Ok, so this is what the dodge double click threshold is:

First of all, the way to dodge is to press a movement key twice in succession. (but not Turn left or Turn Right. Only Up/Down/Strafe) It doesn't matter what direction your character is going or if they're standing still.

The dodge double click threshold is the delay, in hundreths of a second, that your character will pause between the first and second key suppression. Methinks the constrain was added in case ppl were doing it accidentally.

The lower the value, the lower the threshold, therefore = your dodging will be quicker.

If I set my character's threshold @ .25, when I press/depress the forward key the first time the AI will stagger it so the minimum allowable time before the second key is accepted will be .25 sec.

In other words, if I tap the key and then tap it again @ .10 the dodge won't be executed because of the constrain. The character will remain still, all except he/she will bend one of their knees and jerk a little, but remain in place.

THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING that anytime I set the threshold under .25 something really strange happens: the character moves in said direction in really, really slow motion. I don't know excatly how to describe it. I am executing the commands correctly, I assure you.

This wouldn't be so bad, except that .25 sec. = 1/4 sec, which in DM, IS A FRIKKEN ETERNITY!

    Please, please help. plz. kthx.

The double click time simply dictates how soon after the first tap the second tap has to be to perform a dodge. In other words your character will do a single dodge. As soon as that .25 is up. A single tap will still do a dodge. Albeit a small one. You are limited (By the game) to how quickly you can dodge again because your trying to dodge a second time while your character is still performing the first dodge. That's why it seems to stop.

If you turn that number up. The initial dodge won't be executed until that amount of time has passed.
Your making this way to complicated on your self. Turn it up or leave at default but if you want to be able to DD. Don't turn it down.

Turning dodge time too far up sucks. I end up jumping to my death while trying to get just the right angle for a LG shot near a cliff.
