New Forced Models??

Hey. Looks like they've changed what models can be forced in the game with the new patch.

The only one I've gotten to work so far is Brock. Now, you also have to use the same model you've forced.

Does this mean that both male and female models will be the same as the one you choose for yourself? I don't know.

All I know is that this is a pain in the ass.

The real reason for forcing models SHOULD be to save RAM. Unfortunately, that's not how its used, oftentimes, and so they had to force you to use one of the forced models. Good move, imo.

You can still force the one female and one male model as defaults. But you must be using one of them models as well. They added a few, but the forced models I use are Xan and Rylisa, and I play as Xan. Its even better than before because the Xan skin rocks.

Its also only fair.

It doesn't seem to work for me the way you described.

The other players are often getting forced to whatever model I use myself, no matter what PlacedCharacterName= is set for.

This makes EVERYONE look like Brock:

Character=Brock
PlacedCharacterName=Roc
PlacedFemaleCharacterName=Rylisa

This makes EVERYONE look like Brock:

Character=Brock
PlacedCharacterName=Gorge
PlacedFemaleCharacterName=Gorge

This makes EVERYONE look like Gorge:

Character=Gorge
PlacedCharacterName=Xan
PlacedFemaleCharacterName=Rylisa

This makes the player look like Tamika and everyone else like Jacob:

Character=Tamika
PlacedCharacterName=Gorge
PlacedFemaleCharacterName=Rylisa

This makes EVERYONE look like Xan:

Character=Xan
PlacedCharacterName=Xan
PlacedFemaleCharacterName=Tamika

Instead of being asshats about this, they should outline how the commands are going to work from now on and what characters we can use.

if it's made by epic, it's made to be vague. There are next to no explinations for any of the settings in the INI.

I jsut got over it. I hate seeing everyone as my model. I like brock, but I did enjoy seeing a seperate female skin instead of males. helped distinguish the characters a bit without adding the 4 or 5 crappy invisible skins back in.
