Patch results in TCC kicking

After installing the patch I get kicked out of servers because I have an insecure client says AntiTCC or whatever it's called.
Whoever made this: Great job making something that kicks you when you patch it to a newer version...

AntiTCC is NOT official software by EPIC.

Make sure your not using a custom voice or skin when playing online. Unless that server has that voice or skin on it.

I have not got any custom skins or voicepacks installed and I could play on that same server until I installed the patch, meaning that AntiTCC detects something the patch has done that isn't right, but is supposed to be right :bulb:

If you read his post closely, he only mentioned AntiTCC and that it is patched.

I just tried 2 servers with AntiTCC on them (my clanserver and another), and AntiTCC will kick you if you're a client with this patch. It said that I modified an extended console or something

.

Anyways, I use default everything with the game, sooooo I think the author(s) of AntiTCC prolly need to adjust the code to fit in with "teh patch".

Guys, AntiTCC is going to pick up anything that's different. Your US has changed, it's now differnt than it was before. You are not going to be able to get on ANtiTCC servers unitl the admins update their servers. Simple as that.

If you're going to blame anyone blame your server admins for not updating their servers to your specifications, this has nothing to do with epic.

If you have smart admins, this will be in an hour or 2, the other ones will be a week

why doubtfull our servers getting updated yet probely in a few days but not after a hour when only a select few will have the patch

You CAN use the patch on AntiTCC Beta 8 servers. UTSecure 1.11 kicks you, and any previous versions of AntiTCC Beta 8 I believe.

1. I'm at work.
2. LOTS of admins are still at work and won't be home until tonight.
3. They'll most likely cook dinner when they get home or have dinner with their families. I know, big surprise they'd put their family before updating the server for you to play.
4. Some are at the mercy of a data center and have to wait for another party to install the patch.

I know this is not what you want to hear, but us stupid admins have other things in our lives that need taken care of before our game servers.

If you can't live until all of the servers are updated then YOU roll back YOUR installation, and you can play wherever you want.

Hmmm, I read it like this. Something (AntiTCC) kicks you when you patch it (reference to "Something", which is AnitTCC) to a newer level...

But it doesn't matterfor me anyways, since it is 3rd party software, and until the servers are patched I play non AntiTCC servers...

Be thankful you can even get on a good few servers straight after a patch, many games you have to wait till all the servers got exact same patch, not just update anti cheat progs :up:

And besides, no ones gonna miss that damn awful freezing at start on anti tcc servers

i just installed the patch and played on 5 different unpatched servers running Anti-TCC... no problems at all (no preformance increases either

.. oh well, fear my 12 fps :P)

Christ who plays a war with a patch released in the last few hours? I'm still new to the UT way of doing things but in CoD, we didn't play wars with a new patch until league rules were updated, giving server hosts time to update their servers at least, and as far as scrims go, if they were plan scrimmed (can't disrupt an unplanned scrim really), you shouldn't install a brand spanking new patch beforea scrim
