Graphic glitches

Sometimes the menu that shows you game settings and the onslaught node map,doesnt show up.
However when i press escape and run my mouse pointer over a area where a button should be,it makes a sound.

Also sometimes im not seeing the discharge of the link rifle when charging vehicles and nodes.

Turrets on the leviathan, hellbender and turret dischrage also disappears.

Athlon xp 1900
RADEON 9600XT(catalyst 4.4 driver,old drivers did this also)
Santacruz sound card
Gig of 2100 ddr

56k connect
Could this be a lag issue,instead of a graphic issue?

Forget the lag idea.

It does this in "instant action" mode also.

Hmmmmm....
