Sound stops after nvidia logo or when you start a game!!

Ok, i've looked through these forums and everyone that had a c-media sound thing, had a problem where the sound stops in game, for me when you join or start paying and at the nvidia logo. Then it will not work in windows untill you reboot. Is there anyway to fix this? Updated to the new drivers didn't do the job. I'll try to fix this. Maybe something with the game?

I had EXACTLY the same problem, with c-media. I updated my drivers but from a different source - dont remove the old ones, dont alter anything, just install them. I still have the drivers on a disk, so if you have msn send me a pm with your email address and I will add you and send you the drivers over.

ok i gave you a pm, what happens if i already update the drivers from the c-media website? should i go back or just leave it. Cause i tried to get some new ones already but didnt work.

I've added you to msn. I don't know about the c-media website, i didnt get mine from there, but mine worked first time with no problems so i advise you to try them. If they dont work I cant really help but they cleared mine up first time.
