combine weapons

I was thinking, the weapons that you start with pretty much suck.
So I was thinking, why not combine the shield gun and the assult rifle. That way you can deflect attacks while firing off that lame rifle.

well.... what do you think? have a shield in one hand and assult rifle in the other.

I've gotten a few kills by using the alt-fire grenades to knock an opponent back (if not kill them outright) and then finish them with the primary fire. Also, on some maps one will often spawn with nothing but a lightning gun nearby. I try to hit the opponent once with the LG and then switch to the assault rifle to finish them off. It's much easier than having to hit them twice with the LG.
