It baffles me how lazy some people are. Is it really that much to open the disk tray, and place in the DVD? Just leave it in there if you're too worn out to get it back.

I myself, took out the DVD as soon as I installed it, put it back in the case and have the metal case sitting on top of my computer desk for show and tell as so to speak. I did not want anything to happen to the dvd.
and the the post starter, if you're lazy ass searched on google for a ut2k4 no cd crack, you could've found it faster, and even installed it, and probably still have some time left, rather then make a thread about it.

Games load slower when they have to spin up the CD to do verification before launching, and secondly - I like putting my CDs in my CD books, not having to manage a bunch of CDs to put into the tray.

Requiring the CD to be in the computer is a retarded idea. If they've already done a CD key, that should be the end of it. I shouldn't be required to keep read-only media in the tray just so I can start the application.

Now i have to search for a warez for my new game I just bought and risk having the cd key stolen.

Having to put the dvd in and out of the drive on a regular basis, it will get dirty or scratch, eventually causing the game to stop functioning

Not to mention the effort and time wasted to do this mundain task over and over.

He wants to give some of the other kids at school free copies, so they will be his friends.

What I find odd is you don't need the CD to play on Linux (that version is on the disk with the Windows version), and I'm beating when the Mac OS X verison is out in a few weeks the same can be said for that

I used to love nocd cracks but now after virus' and ads, I'm too lazy and bored to look for them. UT2K4 is my only dvd game anyway so I leave it there.
