Achievement Rumor?

I heard that one of the achievments in gears of war would be finding the skull and gear symbol spray painted on walls.
any one els hear of this or any other achievments?

Its possible but how would they know you found it. you could be near it but not looking at it or have really found it maybe they would have youy activate it.

That "achievement" would be so easy, it would be pointless. Why don't we get an achievement for putting the disc in the drive?
This is GoW, not Madden, we wont something that you have to earn.

i think i heard this rumor somewhere too. i think it was in an official xbox magazine or on an oxm disk. ill have to check though.

Yes you have to collect the GOW logos for achievements. 1 skull is bronze, 2 is silver and 3 is gold as far as a level to level rating.

It should be like the hidden Xbox 360's in Condemed:Criminal Origins, the Skull and Gear logos should be hidden away in a hidden room/area.

This is all the info about this that is available. Zoso kind of summed it up, but here is the quote from CliffyB in OXM

"Gears does offer some exploration. The Crimson Omen symbol can be found spray-painted throughout the game world. There are three in each chapter. FInd one to earn bronze, two for silver, and all three for gold."

mmmmh.... It would be cool if you can unlock stuff by doing amazing things, like 200 chainsaw kills, or run through a level without firing your weapon. It would be kinda like the Matrix Path of Neo(although there it was a pain in the a**)

I figured it out Zoso fan is right and the logo is called the crimson skull or something its for sure because cliffy b annouced it in my june issue of oxm magazine

UDay, you know how they have that Y button to focus your view on points of interest? Well, I bet when you're near one (omens), you'll focus on it that way. And that's how you get credit for it. No activating it, it's spraypaint.
At least that's my guess. And they need achievements like this so it gives you a reason to play through the campaign more than 20 times. Matter of fact, if you don't get all the Omens, a Brumak comes to your housa and ***** slaps you through your wall!!

The symbol is indeed true. It's probably like that one tom clancy game (forgot what it was called) where you look at a real ad and it goes through the internet to the makers, and it tells at what angle and how long you saw it. Really, it was pointless. Probably you get close to the symbol and a message appears "You found the symbol"
