    No, make an option on whether it should go to third person or not. I'd rather have it remain in the first person.

    I've just fixed some major annoying bug that let you kill your teammates even though Friendly Fire was on.

    - just extract the archive to UT2004 and start a game with StrangeLove arena mutator enabled.

    This vesion is so beta that its not even funny. However, I'd like you to play it because its already playable and fun with human players.

    Third/first person works just like it does with other vehicles.

    Remember, this uses the assault space fighters as a base, so if you notice any similarties don't be surprised, this is a very early version.

    ATOMIC COW: I'm not sure what you mean. Did you make an option to have a 3rd person view where rotating around the rocket didn't affect its direction? If you don't mind please email me:

    IF you put the wahooo in, make it user-configured if they want it on and off. The server that I hosted that went down 4 years ago had SL2 24/7, and within 5 mins. of playing, the wahoo got freaking annoying to the 10+ people that were on the server...

    You could look for some by configuring an appropriate filter in the server browser.

    This mut is so much better than the first version for 2k4!

    The main part left to do is get rid of the spacefighter thing in 1st person, remove the laser and missiles, add some frivilous things, and we have a winner!

    I'm trying to make the SL missile let you pickup the flag (in a CTF game) without ejecting. Untill then I won't release a new version.

    However, I did remove the lazers and the space fighter crap

    I haven't tried this... but damn it looks promising. I know Ofus was working on a 2k3 version but dropped it I guess after a hard drive crash (was also working on a final version of UT99 SLV2 at the time too I think)

    My thoughts as to what made SLV2 fun:
    - Fly and Gun... The ability to shoot at people with your weapons while flying. Basically you hit crouch and it took you out of flying mode so you could look around and shoot at the same time while the rocket flew in the direction you had it in before you engaged gunner mode

    - Passengers... Definately made the mod a hell of a riot to play.... They could also fire weapons as well.


    I think if you nail those two features with this, you will win a lot of fans! The mute. looks great already!

    alphaone ... It will be for what ever you need.. 1 gig of space for my Total account. This means we would have to share it but I won't use that much. You can have a subdomain for free no crap nothing... it would be like www.strangelove.teaminfamy.net or w/e you want. I can offer you multiple sub domains as well

    mysql database, 15 gigs transfer a month.

    FTP access.. e-mails..

    I have the hosting, just have no real need for it.. just its a good price and very fast .

    Yeah, and at higher speeds (especially going turbo ) allow it to 'whipe out' more.

    he means, make the quick turns take longer to adjust to where your going, so you cant go Super fast and not hit walls like you shouldn't be able to go in circles in the face classic base at top speed

    I just got finished playing it and man was that a lot of fun. Couple of questions/observations:

    * Will you be able to replace only the standard redeemer or will it only be Arena-style?
    * I noticed a few times if I was carrying the flag, when I jumped off I would drop the flag.
    * In the UT99 version, if you were riding and you hit an enemy, they would be gibbed, but you would continue and not blow up. Will you be implementing this?

    I could probably find more things and I know this is alpha right now, but these are what immediately stood out.

    Like I said, it was a lot of fun and keep it up. :up:

    The original also had the ability to arm and disarm the warhead in flight via mousewheel which was kindof important in strangelove ctf games.

    True, but that should also be configurable. I'd be happier if you couldn't disarm it. Much more fun that way.

    No functionalyty update.

    Just made a new package which has the version number in the name. That kind of fixes the version mismatch problems.
