no he's not, and no it's not official 0fus release... not even 0fus approved...
but, i hope he makes it as good as (if not better than) Strangelove2.

StrangeLove at a LAN party in 2000 is what got me to buy UT

And yeah, 0fus had a HUD and a secondary pea shooter.

ill download it if you make the characater face forward on the rocket (ROFL) and if you make it so you can pick another person up on the rocket like in the original Strange Love

Hey guys!

First of all, I've recently found out that the mod doesn't work online currently, so you'll have to wait. Don't worry, it will be worth the wait in the end.

Second of all, this is NOT an official 0fus release, but you won't get anything better unfortunately. Yrns is not working on StrangeLove anymore. Thats why I decided to take over. However, I did get an approval from him, through an indirect way. I never talked to him in person, rather to a person who knows Yrns well.

Third of all, your view is not fixed to the rocket, you can look around and stuff. Its just that I looked behind myself in all screenshots

(BTW, screenshots #3 and #5 show the player looking forward

Did you get this code from the Ut2k3 assault mod? I had the strangelove on my server for a bit, I re-coded some of the stuff in it and had it switch to third person view upon alt fire (but that didn't work online) and also made it so you cannot fly with the flag in CTF games just for a little balance.

You should get rid of the weapon in the HUD when riding the deemer

HEY I GOT AN IDEA! Why not remake the Unreal Tournament ROCKETX? It can be like the Strangelove. but Please make the rocket turn into a jet (Like the UT Version). By the way Where I found the ROCKETX Was in the "WhoShack" in err... ASSAULT in UT. That was my FAVORITE! :haha:

I remember hanging out on the 0fus boards eagerly awaiting SLV2, and posting ideas for SLV3. I hope you fulfill yrns vision; that is, to make StrangeLove Racing

I bet it would rock with 2k4's engine.

Thanks for your interest.
I have started totally rewriting the whole mod.
The version that you have seen me release was based on ROAR team's Assault mod. Now I'm making the StrangeLove based on a space fighter in ut2k4, which is x10 much better.

I can't explain how much fun it is just flying around ONS maps

I'm hoping to release it soon - once I fix some really weird bugs.

Downloaded since I loved the UT Strangelove 2.

Did a bot match on CTF-FaceClassic, and noticed that the bot characters didn't appear on the nukes, rather, they appeared to by flying underneath the rockets. Was rather freaky.

And no "Waaaaahhhoooooo!!!!!"?

Ya got to keep that in. It ain't SLV if there ain't no "waaaaahoooooooo!"

BTW, IIRC, the original SLV had a bug whereby bots/players would appear below it when in flight. This was corrected eventually.

is it me - or is there a problem with the Strange love - When i used it on ONS-Torlan i walked to a weapon locker to get some weapons but i never got any so i thought this was because of the Strange love - but when i got to the Second locker on the Second node i was able to pick up a mini gun - is that a error?

Well this Mutator is for unreal 2k4 but there was a previous one for Unreal Tournament 99 and i think there was one for unreal tournament 2003.

But to run it u Need:
Bonus Pack 1, Bonus Pack 4, and a version of UT patched to 436.
