Supposed Unreal Window Sticker <-- I Didnt Get One In My S.e.

Did anyone else not get the Unreal emblem sticker with the special edition version???

I got 3 crappy atari stickers (no offense but they will not look good on my case like the emblem will!) but no emblem...

Anyone else???

I dont think that comes in the game, I thought that was something that EB was giving out to the people who preordered the game.

2. According to the press release its supposed to come in game with the DVD SE...

Only time that I heard about it is if you reserved it from Gamestop online. I didnt hear about it from EB.

Just the Atari stickers here too. I pre-ordered from EB and I am thinking that is the last time I do that. Mine came in a padded envelope and the metal casing was crushed. They should bhave boxed it.

UT2K4 SE does come with a sticker(s), but those (like me *grin*) that ordered it online while they still had the emblem offer got the:

If you cancelled your first EB pre-order and then re-ordered because of the price drop, you might have lost it in the shuffle. Re-check your order.

I didn't get an unreal window sticker, just the atari ones.

I didn't get one either. I just bought mine at a local gamestop.

But I did get to *see* one...stuck to the cash register.

I could understand if it was part of the pre-order special only, but in the press release, I thought it sounded like it would be in the box (like the headset), so I wouldn't matter where you got it. Unless this is a case of Special Special Edition.

From what I understood, the emblem was being handed out physically at stores when you preordered, like one of those "here's something to make you happy in the meantime things" (as another example, in most game stores if you preorder DOomIII you can get a pewter figurine and something else...coutnerstrike:conditionzero gets you trading cards [OOH BOY!!!], etc. It's a gimmick to get you in the store). I got one from babbages when I preordered 3 or 4 months ago......:up:

Yeah, WTF is up with that? My box wasnt crushed, but what were they thinking putting it in an envelope. I pay $11 for shipping and thats how it shows up

EDIT: I did get the emblem, and it nothing to get worked up about. It looks like really cheap plastic with cheaper metal paint. It came loose in the envelope, not in the SE box, so I dont think it was an offer from Epic or Atari.

The real Atari went bankrupt after having to bury 13 million unsold copies of ET out in the desert.

This 'Atari' Is just a rebadged Infogrames Inc. Because some Americans seem to have a problem dealing with French companies. It's about as near to being the original Atari, as Nintendo is :0)
